Glenn Weiner

Director of Tennis & Padel

As a former professional tennis player and high-performance tennis coach, Glenn turned pro at the age of 18, playing on the ATP tour for 12 years before reaching a career high of 119 in singles and 87 in doubles. Glenn began his coaching career at the IMG/Nick Bollettieri tennis academy in Bradenton, Florida. During his 14 years of coaching at IMG, Glenn worked with the elite pro and junior team before becoming the head of the program in 2018. Over the years, Glenn has coached and toured with many professional players including Kei Nishikori, Yoshihito Nishioka, Michael Mmoh, and Shintaro Mochizuki. Glenn believes in developing the entire athlete and creating an environment and culture that inspires and motivates athletes to reach their full potential.

Tatiana Soldatova

Tennis Professional

Born and raised in Russia, Tatiana moved to the United States in 2006 to play collegiate division one tennis. In 2012, Tatiana joined the coaching team at IMG Academy, where she spent the stage of her career working will all levels and ages of players. After four years with IMG Academy, Tatiana decided to step away from the court professionally and entered the competitive real estate market. Throughout her real estate career, Tatiana remained very active in the tennis community, participating in USTA leagues, fundraising tournaments and exhibition matches. Tatiana is passionate about the game of tennis, bringing high energy and competition in her training.

Robie Isaacs

Tennis Professional

A native Bahamian, Robie Isaacs began playing tennis at five years old at the Gym Tennis Club in Nassau, where he became the No.1 ranked junior in the country. He soon went on to represent his country with the junior traveling team, playing in the prestigious Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr international tournaments. After spending time at a tennis academy in the US, Robie played college tennis at Fort Valley State University where he was named Team MVP and Athlete of The Year. With 10 years of teaching experience, PTR certification and Padel Certification, Robie enjoys teaching players of all ages and abilities.

Koeche Smith

Tennis Professional

Koeche Smith started playing tennis at eight years old in his hometown of Nassau in The Bahamas. As one of the top junior players, he represented the country in international play for several years before earning a scholarship to the Junior Academy at Van Der Meer University on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Koeche then played four years of college tennis at Mars Hill College in North Carolina, serving as Team Captain his senior year and earning the title of Team MVP. Koeche holds a PTR professional certification and his Padel Certification. Koeche has since developed extensive experience working with professional and amateur tennis players, lending his time and talent at Albany since 2014.

Brezile Hamilton

Tennis Professional

Brezile Hamilton began playing tennis at age seven at the National Tennis Center located in Nassau, The Bahamas. He was ranked No. 3 in the country during his junior career and represented The Bahamas in various international team tournaments such as the Junior Davis Cup and JITIC. After his junior career, Brezile went on to play for Graceland University, in Lamoni, Iowa where he received an athletic and academic scholarship. He was an integral part of winning their conference championships during his four years at Graceland and where they went on to play at the national championship. Brezile is an experienced instructor of all levels and ages with a passion for coaching others to help them succeed in every aspect of the sport.

Rasheed Carey

Tennis Professional

Rasheed Carey started playing tennis at the young age of five in Freeport, The Bahamas where he was coached by his father, a former Davis Cup player. In the early years of Rasheed’s tennis career, he developed a local ranking, which placed him in the top three players in The Bahamas. Rasheed later represented The Bahamas by participating in the World Youth Cup and the Junior Davis Cup. He later went abroad to learn and improve his tennis skills at Tarik Benhabiles Tennis and Coaching, a tennis academy in Delray Beach, Florida. During this time Rasheed gained an ITF ranking of 151 and was selected to represent The Bahamas at the 2014 Junior Olympic Games. After finishing his junior career, Rasheed received a full scholarship to ASA college, where he attended and helped the tennis team achieve back-to-back national championship victories.

Diego Zalazar

Director of Padel

Diego Zalazar, originally from Argentinia, joins us from Spain where he has been teaching and competing in padel since 2004. Diego is skilled professional and certified padel trainer, with more than thirty years of experience training beginners, children, advanced and professional padel players. An accomplished padel player, coach and director, Deigo brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the sport of padel to Albany.
